November 2010: Omimetics purchases a Mori Seiki 150 CNC Lathe to compliment their existing lathe set with live tooling.
October 2010: In a move to upgrade capabilities and capacity, Omnimetics installs a new Haas VF-3 mill
August 2010: Omnimetics moves to a new facility. According to Bob Kouk, President of Omnimetics, " The entire move was well planned and coordinated. We moved the entire manufacturing operation in three days and were up and running for our customers by the weekend. All of our employees and machines made the move and we are very pleased with the new facility."
March 2010: Omnimetics announces the installation of a new Mitsubishi FA2O CNC Wire EDM. This high tech addition seriously enhances the company's ability to manufacture parts with critical dimensions that can only be produced utilizing EDM technology.
March 2010: Omnimetics expands core manufacturing capacity through the addition of a new HAAS CNC Tool Room Mill. This increases the number of CNC and Manual Mills to eight.
January 5, 2010: Omnimetics is awarded a major oil & gas exploration company order. It will require Omnimetic's contract manufacturing expertise and utilize in-house engineering, machined parts and the conjoining of electronic and analytical subsystems.
August 11, 2009: Omnimetics purchases Brown and Sharpe 618 Micro Master Surface Grinder to expand metal transformation capabilities.
February 9, 2009: Omnimetics announces the installation of the newest version of EdgeCAM(TM) software as part of the company's strategy to incorporate cutting edge technology in support of its' machining operations.
August 29, 2008: Omnimetics purchases a Haas TL-2 Lathe to upgrade and address increased demand for precision products.
June 25, 2008: Received and installed new Haas TL-3 Lathe to expand capacity and increase capabilities to machine larger diameter parts.
November 5, 2007: Omnimetics adds additional shift to address increased market demand.
November 5, 2007: Company acquires new Four Axis HAAS VF-1 CNC.
July 23, 2007: Company is acquired by Kolimetics, Inc.
March 22, 2007: Awarded major pharmaceutical build / assembly order.
June 1, 2006: Acquires new HAAS VOP-A CNC Lathe to enhance and expand manufacturing capabilities.
March 30, 2006: 25 year anniversary.
