The Omnimetics family has over a century of business and machining success and experience.  Many of our customers have been with us for over 20 years and growing. 

Our Business

The original company got it's start in 1981 when Bruce Wafer (formerly with Texas Instruments) and Eddie Bar teamed up to create Bar-W, Inc.  In true entrepreneurial spirit, they built the business from the ground up serving the robust Houston area market. 

In July 2007, Omnimetics acquired the assets of Bar-W, Inc.  The new company, owned and operated by Bob Kouk and Mike Lindgren, offers an enhanced level of service and innovative manufacturing expertise designed to surpass customer expectations. Omnimetics has grown to supply the semiconductor, medical, pharmaceutical and general industries.

They have accelerated the growth of the business with a  foundation anchored in the Oil and Gas industry serving large OEMs and smaller sub-tier suppliers.  Omnimetics is located in Houston, Texas near the intersection of Highway 290 and Beltway 8, a major interchange along the Texas Energy Corridor . 

Who We Are

Bob Kouk, President of Omnimetics has an engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and 25 years of business and manufacturing experience.

Mike Lindgren is Vice President of Omnimetics and has 32 years of machining, operations, customer service and quotations experience.

Emily Hardin is Office Administrator and has a degree from Baylor University with experience in the contract manufacturing, machining, medical and electronics industries.
